Question: (1 answer)
I have a Snickerdoodle Cookie recipe from my mom's old Betty Crocker cookbook that my family loves. It is a hard cookie and I would like to make a soft cookie version. I've heard that adding baking powder makes a cookie soft but I don't know how much to use -- or if this will work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey there buzzers!
I was wondering if anyone has had any success with making clone of a cinnabon ahead of time and either freezing before baking or freezing after baking and re-heating...any advice or tips? Thanks so much!!

Hi all. I'm in the market for a new digital camera (home invasion stole my old one!) Can anyone recommend one that you like? If possible one that you have pix on your profile with so that we can sort of judge if the indoor picture is what we're after? We're looking specifically for a camera that does decent food photos and excellent "people" photos (not taking into account user error!) Thanks so much in advance! P.S. $500 or less please.

Is it just me, or is anyone else noticing that store bought packages of meat seem to have a lot of freezer burn? I just pulled out a package of *good* ground beef - the Laura's Lean Beef from Target & it looks like it has an excess of air and the meat is a weird bright red color. I just bought it yesterday and put it right into the freezer. Decided to use it today & pulled it out. I really don't want to start repackaging meat that I buy from the store before freezing, what a pain!

I have made my chocolate marshmallow muffins once again and they are the best when taken right out of the oven and let cool for a few minutes and then enjoy the melted chocolate that is still soft and gooey with the marshmallow coating being very soft makes it a very enjoyable muffin to have for a brunch or late night snack. I have the recipe posted on my profile page. I would be thrilled if someone would give me a rating on this one to let me know that it is a good recipe

DH wants simple diner food tonight: open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. I've no drippings and am completely out of beef stock/broth. I *do* have beef base, but have never really used it before so I'm iffy on results. Would appreciate your favorite recipe or ideas for beef gravy!

Hooray! The first long weekend of summer is almost here! Thank you Queen Victoria for having a birthday in May. This weekend we are heading to a BBQ and I was asked to bring dessert. What is a knockout BBQ dessert recipe? Thanks.

Hi friends! I have a red bell pepper in my fridge that I need to use or lose in the next couple of days. Every time red peppers go on sale I get excited and snatch one up but I never really *do* anything. I like it raw but I'm getting a bit bored of that. Any interesting idea for red peppers, other than a traditional stuffed pepper? I'm pretty lacking in other ingredients so something simple with things I'm likely to have hanging around in the fridge/pantry would be good. Thanks in advance!

I am looking for suggestions on what to cook tonight. I have 3 pounds of ground beef to use, but I don't want any of the usual dishes. No burgers, meatloaf, meatballs, chili, or soup. I'm looking for something unusual. Any suggestions?

OT - Pinterest question: Is there any way to see the whole list of Recent Activity from fellow Pinners? Sometimes I cannot see notification of people's comments, because the Recent Activity only shows the past ten or so activities.
Also, Allie, it may be helpful to put a short list of your specific interests on your newest shared board, so that I know what pins you may want to see...
