People making this recipe may want to try this recipe with the following modifications: 1. Instead of using store bought "Italian Style" breadcrumbs, use the Panko breadcrumbs (normally found in the Asian section of your grocery store). then season the breadcrumbs to YOUR liking and preference. Or, grind your own bread in a food processor, then season it. 2. Dredge chicken breasts in flour, prior to the egg/breadcrumb mixture. You can use the whole wheat flour as an alternative. 3. Once chicken is coated with the breadcrumbs, deep fry them in shallow oil, then place in oven topped with cheeses. 4. Most important.. Make your own sauce. It's easy enough to do and will make all the difference in the world.
