About me:
I am a wife, homemaker, and mother to a wonderful husband, a beautiful step-daughter and two undeniably handsome boys. My father was a general in the ARMY, so I grew up around the world, mainly in the middle east: Saudi Arabia and Egypt. I do have a few excellent middle eastern recipe's that I'll submit once I have the time; however, I mainly enjoy cooking All-American meals. My family and I now live in Deerfield Beach, FL, so cooking seafood on a regular basis is essential!

Yum-Yum Corn

I have been meaning to rate this recipe for a while. I made this last Thanksgiving and my entire family loved it! Even my young cousins who are picky eaters! I will be making this again this year. I did add an extra garlic clove because I felt like the recipe didn't call for enough. It was excelent!

Chocolate Banana Bread

Reviewed on Jul. 31, 2008 by Cindapi
I followed this recipe exactly as listed except I follwed another reviewer's advice and mixed the dough by hand (mixed dry ingredients and created hole in the middle and then added the mixed wet ingredients (mixed sugar with wet)and sour cream in the center and mixed by hand). This made the bread SUPER MOIST. Next time I might leave the chocolate chips out since I thought the bread would be better without them and add a little extra cocoa powder. Worth the effort!

Mini Ham And Cheese Rolls

Very good and very easy! I used honey mustard rather than regular mustard, and less butter than the recipe called for. I would definitely make these again.
